weekend update

What a fun and productive weekend! We spent Friday night with some old friends celebrating not one but 2 pregnancies in the group at Stella - it's baby time! Saturday after dropping the Brooks off at the airport for their trip to the Cayman Islands Tucker and I treated ourselves to breakfast at Tremont 647 for a s'mores poptart (to die for) and bloody mary's (the best in Boston).

Then it was off to Home Depot to prepare for a ton of closet organizing before heading out to the Times to celebrate Tippi's 30th - great to catch up with old kickball friend! Cheers!

president's day weekend in chatham

Our weekend at Chatham Bars Inn was so wonderful and needed! The Inn itself was amazing and the staff there could not have been more helpful and accomodating. We lucked out with beautiful sunny weather (especially for February!) so we were able to walk the beach and into town for shopping. We had dinner Friday night at the Impudent Oyster followed by drinks at the Squire and Saturday night at the Wild Goose Tavern - couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Tucker had to work Monday but I had it off so Kate, Ben and I headed to Framingham to meet the newest edition to the group - Lana Yang. She is absolutely precious! Congrats again Larry and Lex!

weekend getaway...

We are off to the Chatham Bars Inn for a last minute weekend getaway! I am hoping for a few days of walking around and shopping and nights of indulging in wine and cheese by the fire! More to come on Monday!

bienvenido a miami

I barely survived but I'm back from Liz's amazing bachelorette party in Miami! The weather could have been warmer but we managed to soak up some sun from the hot tub. :-) We did a lot of eating, laughing and drinking and I can't think of a better group of girls to spend the weekend with! The gorgeous bride to be received a lot of new undies...

and some champagne and strawberries from the girls who were unable to make it...

Overall it was an AMAZING weekend and I can't wait for her shower in a few weeks! Goodbye Miami!

jet setters

Tucker is off to the UK for work and to spend some time with Dave, Jen, Lisa and Matt and I am off to Miami to celebrate Liz's last few weeks as a single lady - cheers to a much needed break!

Valentine's day came early this year...since Tucker will miss the actual holiday I got some flowers at work to let me know how sad he is to miss it...I'm sure the Jameson Distillery and Guinness Brewery will treat him just fine. ;-)



heartbreaker

Well let's rip it off like a bandaid...the Patriots lost to the Giants again in the Superbowl. Perhaps we should have taken the exploding baked brie at our party as an omen. Not only did we have to wake up to another Pats loss but the entire condo smells like dirty feet. Adding insult to injury.

Luckily the rest of the weekend was much more enjoyable. After a much needed hair appointment in preparation for Liz's bachelorette party this weekend in Miami, Tucker met me on Newbury Street and we had dinner at MET.

Saturday afternoon was spent celebrating Emily and her baby to be! The new house in Roslindale looks adorable and it was great to see some of Em's family and friends who I haven't seen since her wedding. We can't wait to meet Baby Adams in a few short weeks!

This pretty much describes me this week - 5:30 on Friday can't come fast enough! Yesterday I managed to get all the way to the gym for spin class only to realize I forgot my shorts (had to sprint up and down 3 flights of stairs to Marshall's to grab the first thing I saw - made for a very painful class) and today I forgot my bus pass (after grabbing coffee at Sidewalk I had to return home to grab it out of my coat pocket). Looking forward to a more organized week ahead!
